The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it's alarmed concerning the substantial variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support level developed for intervention encounters a large influx of sassa status check possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people sassa status who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise sassa status check extra means to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
